I foster a fun, relaxed atmosphere where you can unwind and be yourself — which always shows in your photographs.
Your shoot
I have a studio in my home, which provides for a variety of portrait options from classic to contemporary. Or, if you would prefer a more natural setting, we can meet at an outdoor location of your choice.
A typical session lasts about an hour, but I allow more time for newborns and infants. There is never a rush and there’s always time for breaks.
What to wear
If we’re using my studio, feel free to bring a few outfits. I have a private dressing room to change in. I will likely ask that you bring a black and white top, as well as anything else that reflects your personal style – just please stay away from logos, because I don’t want anything to upstage you.
If we’re shooting on location, I’ll be happy to discuss clothing options before your session. Keep in mind that layers can provide for a few different looks if there isn’t a place to change.
What to bring
I have a wide variety of items available in my studio, so you don’t need to bring anything but yourself and a smile. But if you have a personal item that you want to preserve in a photo, I’ll be happy to incorporate it into your session.
Ordering
You will receive an e-mail invitation to view your private gallery within two weeks of your session that can be forwarded to family and friends. You will have two weeks to view your proofs and can place your order any time during that period. After that, your gallery will no longer be available for viewing. I will contact you when your photos are ready to be picked up, or they can be mailed to your home for an additional fee.
Personal service
You will receive personal service from the time you schedule your appointment until you receive your prints. I customize each portrait session to fit your unique needs, so don’t be afraid to make a request.
